Ngorongoro Crater is a truly amazing place and a must for anyone who visits Tanzania.

A 3-year-old collapsed volcano has created a unique eco system like nowhere else.

Within the crater, a thriving wildlife population exists, with the highest density of predatory mammals in Africa.

Lions are the king of the crater floor, but the plentiful Hyenas are not easy to scare.

This is also on of very few parks in the Northern Safari Circuit where you have the chance of seeing Africa’s Big 5, the lion, the elephant, the leopard, the buffalo and the endangered black rhino.

In the late afternoon you will ascend the crater wall and drive to Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp for a sunset drink around the bonfire, before dinner and overnight here.

After a nice breakfast at the camp, you will go out for a full day safari, as you drive north to the Mara River, and hopefully you will be able to see a river crossing.

In this area, you will also find several different big cats such as lions and leopards, all just lying in ambush hoping to catch an animal off guard.

You will enjoy your picnic lunch under a shaded canvas cover from our vehicle, with wildlife around you in every direction. Not to worry though, as you guides will be spotting for dangerous animals while you are enjoying your lunch..

After lunch, you will continue your safari as you drive along Mara River, looking for the perfect crossing point for the migrating wildebeests and Zebras.

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly one of the most famous national parks in the world and combined with Ngorongoro Conservation area to the east and the Masai Mara Game Reserve in the North it holds one of the last wildlife migrations on earth.More than 2 million animals migrate between these parks every year in search of water and green pastures.

The park also holds about 3000 lions, and there is a good chance of spotting the king of the jungle as well as other big predators such as hyenas, leopards and cheetahs.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to Lemala Kuria Hills Tented Camp for a sunset drink, before dinner and overnight.
